From our FERNDOWN Office we offer a range of desirable properties to suit all pockets. With the Ferndown Industrial Estate and Bournemouth International Airport within a few minutes, demand for property is always high.
Ferndown is situated on the boundaries of Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch, surrounded by open countryside and woodlands, close to the New Forest and the market towns of Ringwood and Wimborne. Although now a small town, Ferndown retains much of its former friendly village atmosphere, with lots of free parking and level walking. A wide variety of shops can be found along the tree lined high street and in the pedestrianised ‘Penny’s Walk’, together with two large supermarkets, a community centre and local theatre.
The bus services from Ferndown Town Centre are second to none, with options of travelling to Wimborne, Ringwood, Bournemouth and Poole and further afield to Southampton and Salisbury.
To the west of Ferndown are the rolling hills of the Purbecks, incorporating the rocky Dorset coastline.
To the east are the ancient Norman hunting grounds of the New Forest, with its many hidden villages which can be explored on foot, bicycle and horseback.
To the north is the chalk downland of Cranborne Chase, once another great royal hunting reserve, used these days mostly for arable farming.
To the south you will find the cosmopolitan coastal resort of Bournemouth and the old harbour town of Poole with their wide range of shops, gardens, beaches and entertainment.
